STATE OF APATHY

You know the feeling when the world is kinda dreamy 

you watch the tick tock on your fluorescent clock

you get kinda weary when the tick gets dreary 

and you stare there wondering in dinkum inquisition

is the second hand the minute hand ?

it must be it's not moving 

a telepathic photographic moment of soothing then

BAM! The second hand moves on

in the files of your mind and it's listed as gone.

is simply never overestimate 

the second hand speed 

it could lead to the choke

I feel kinda proud 'cause I'm questioning perpetually 

longing for the moments I can speak intellectually
